About

An Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) is a healthcare professional who provides immediate medical care to patients in emergency situations. EMTs are typically the first healthcare providers to arrive at the scene of an accident, natural disaster, or medical emergency. Their primary role is to assess the patient's condition, provide initial medical treatment, and safely transport the patient to a medical facility if necessary.

An Emergency medical technician describes healthcare professionals who provide emergency medical care and transportation to patients in need. EMTs or ambulance technicians are trained to assess patients, provide basic life support, administer first aid, perform CPR, manage airways, control bleeding, immobilize fractures, and safely transport patients to medical facilities. They often work in ambulances or other emergency medical services (EMS) settings, responding to emergency calls and providing immediate care to patients at the scene of an accident, injury, or medical emergency.
