An Emergency medical technician describes healthcare professionals who provide emergency medical care and transportation to patients in need. EMTs or ambulance technicians are trained to assess patients, provide basic life support, administer first aid, perform CPR, manage airways, control bleeding, immobilize fractures, and safely transport patients to medical facilities.
